During the 2023-2024 academic year I held a position as a science and mathematics faculty member at Cate School, a top-ranked independent boarding school in Carpinteria, California. At Cate I taught 9th grade physics and 12th grade mathematics courses, and I coached water polo and soccer.
The picture above is one of my favorites from my time teaching, and was taken during a lab where students studied the nature of interia.
During the 2022-2023 academic year I was a mathematics faculty member at Millbrook School, an independent boarding school in Millbrook, New York, where I taught geometry and pre-calculus courses. I was also an academic advisor, dorm parent, soccer coach, woodshop instructor, and supported community service at the school's Trevor Zoo.
While enrolled at Bowdoin College I worked for three semesters as a Teaching Assistant for the Introduction to Physics II course, where I graded assignments and met with students weekly.
Tutoring
Over the past seven years I have offered in-person and remote tutoring to students of all ages and skill levels in subjects ranging from introductory algebra to college-level calculus and quantum mechanics.
